A place I would like to live

I would like to live in Arashiyama in Kyoto. Because the street is very clean and the very Japanese atmosphere is really nice. When I went there duaring GW, I saw a track which is for clianing around the street. The speaker of the track seid, "Arashiyama is everyone's town so we have to keep clean by ourselves." I really agree the idea and I thought that all town in Japan should have the same idea. There are also a lot of temples and shrines. I can calm down if I go there. That's why I would like to live Arashiyama.

    I agree with your opinion that everi town in jaoan should think the town is everyone's town so we have to keep clean by ourselves.
    so that every town become beautiful and peoplemight be more kind i think:)

    I think all town in Japan should have the same idea,too.

    we all japanese have to clean our city by ourselves.

    Was the truck for cleaning, or just telling people to be clean? In Australia, each city employs workers and trucks to keep the streets clean, but in Japan I think people have to do it themselves. Actually, in my neighborhood (Takatsuki) we all cleaned around our houses last weekend. We were given a boxed lunch afterwards.
